Denali National Park is one of the wildest places we've ever backpacked. We backpacked for several days in the Polychrome Basin area. At higher elevation and with sparse tall vegetation, it provided breathtaking panoramic vistas of mountains, rivers, and sky, and, importantly, of grizzly bears before we hiked too close to them.
